We handled the estate of a family member who passed away. He was a dear soul, single, and always came to visit but insisted we never visited at his home. We didn’t realize he was a hoarder. After administering a lengthy and difficult estate, from a different city and county, we began to deal with the process of selling the home. We searched companies who were experienced with this level of clearing and cleaning, waste disposal, and the probable repairs and inspections. The details and climbing costs were somewhat overwhelming. After awhile, we decided to sift through the cards with offers to buy the property. We actually didn’t put much hope into these. However I’m so glad we did a bit of research. We decided we wanted someone who seemed to be “local” to the home county. We also looked for a Better Business Bureau member and rating, and years of experience. We decided upon StrykCam and another company to call first. All of my “I really don’t know what or how to ask” questions were answered in that first phone call with, Reagan. She was encouraging, respectful of the situation and completely explained what was involved of buying an “as is” property, while making it as easy as possible on us as out of town sellers. She had her boss, Cameron, call us right away to further discuss and set an appointment time that was convenient for us to look at the property. We met one day, with two appointments, the following week. Cameron was prompt, honest and very respectful of the circumstances. We liked him immediately. He didn’t give us a “slick” impression, but one of honesty and integrity. He told us about his family owned company, the entire as-is process, they take care of all closing costs, and the time frame. We were cautious but hopeful. We got home and he called right away with a fair and competitive purchase price and explained the very simple and “painless” process and timeline. We accepted the offer. As promised, Andrea - Cam’s partner, called us right back, answered all of our current questions and walked us through the forthcoming paperwork process and timeline of about 10 days! The completed paperwork was emailed the next day, requiring electronic signatures. It was a speedy and simple completion. While on the phone, she let us know it was received, she signed her part and immediately sent the completed agreement back to us. Andrea then let me know when it was sent to the title company; she texted that one step was completed; she called a couple of days later that another was awaiting a form between the company and state; and finally that everything was set on closing the next week. She explained that the title company would contact us to have a mobile notary come to our home for finalization. That contact was set two days later. She was also very personable and professional, prompt, very thorough. She told us she would fax the documents and we would probably have the money wired that afternoon. The money was in the estate account that day. All in all, probably due to a holiday observance during this time, closing took about 13 days. Still, amazing! Needless to say, we are so recommend StrykCam without reservations! These are good, friendly folks, sensitive and professional!

Oh man, where to begin! Simply put, if your looking for a very fast sell at a fair price, these are the people to deal with. I tried 3 other companies before this one, all 3 came up short, very short, one wanted to offer only half, one wouldn't answer or return calls, and the other flaked out literally at the last min, finally I called Cameron, I had my doubts at first, but he took it and ran, answered my calls when I had questions and if I left a message, he got back to me fast, usually in 30 min or less. And Andrea was just as good, these guys have a really good system for what they do and they do it well. We closed on the day I wanted to, witch was a fast close, my cash was in the bank 2 hours after close. And it was just as they said, as is, made no repairs, I took what I wanted and just left what I didn't, they made this so easy, and I paid nothing out of pocket. They covered all closing cost. I think the price we came to was a very fair price. We are super happy with the openess and how honest they were with us during the whole process. Trust me, don't waste your time with those little middle man people, call Stryk cam and get it done right the first time, they won't lie or waste your time, very honest and up front people!
